Walking through the streets of a city gives you plenty of opportunities to look upwards! Scaffolding in a narrow street, a tree stretching into the sky, the sunlight painting airy patterns onto a wall. Windows absorbing the first sunlight of spring.
Ahhh, this was a pleasant evening! After a heavy working day I spent some time in my favourite "Kaffeehaus" (and took this rainy picture when I left) and then my hubby called me and we spent the evening with a friend who invited us to watch a movie which was produved 1952 in post-war Vienna and which was designed to become a successor of "The Third Man", but without Hollywood stars. It turned out to be a flop and ruined the producers. But we enjoyed it very much: a crazy pianist tyrannizing his wife, murdering her friend who tries to help her escape, a taxi driver without papers finding the corpse in his car, taking the passport and the plane ticket to USA, but by and by being confronted with the lady and the murder, finally supports her and risks his fate for her - everything in a nonchalant way as Harry Lime would have done, and THEY SUCCEED, they become a happy couple, the husband detected, and a plane rising in the monochrome sky - beautiful, and full of tension!
This time I want to show you some photos from our summer vacation in 2007. We stayed in Salzkammergut near Lake Wolfgangsee, an Austrian region with smooth green hills, high mountains and lovely blue lakes. This is a view from our balcony!
We had a wonderful time and it is so good to remember!
Today I read several blogs whose blog owners had been tagged. Show me the 6th picture of your 6th file, they were requested. I loved to see this game and imagined which picture I would have chosen as my 6th of 6th... It was not so difficult a task! I am sure it comes not as a surprise that my 6th file contains summer pictures with a lake, bathing, my (hydrophobic) doggy splashing around trying to catch fish, me with a sun hat and a book etc etc... Oh yes, outside now it is -3° Celsius.... :((
